PERSONAL INTERESTS
I enjoy hiking and climbing.
Besides academic articles and books, I also read for leisure. Sci-fi and fantasy are my go-to genres.
I also like watching sports (lately it’s been basketball, football, and Formula 1 racing). I was lucky enough to be able to attend the 2022 College Football National Championship and watch Georgia take down Alabama. (Go Dawgs!) Since then, my undergraduate alma mater has also won the championship title (Go Blue!), although I was not fortunate enough to attend that game in person.
ACADEMIC AND WORK EXPERIENCE
I graduated with a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Prior to entering academia, I worked at the Frito-Lay division of PepsiCo, headquartered in Plano, TX. During my time at Frito, I worked in the marketing and strategic insights groups, helping to launch/commercialize new products and conduct primary research (in-depth interviews, ethnographies, and surveys). Many of my theoretical interests stem from my time in industry. My experience has also helped me in the classroom.
I received my Ph.D. in Management (Strategy & Entrepreneurship) from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, and have worked at Cornell University and Indiana University (current position).
